Boundary Fence & Gate started in 2009 with one truck, a post-hole digger, and a simple idea: build fences the way you'd want them built for your own backyard. Founder Dale Whitfield had spent nearly a decade framing houses and hanging gates for other contractors around Lee's Summit before deciding Kansas City needed a fence company that answered its phone, showed up when promised, and stood behind its work with more than a handshake.

Seventeen years later, that's still the standard. We've grown from a one-truck operation to a licensed crew of installers covering both sides of the state line — from Platte City in the north to Belton and Raymore in the south, Overland Park and Olathe to the west, and Blue Springs and Independence to the east. What hasn't changed is how we run a job: an honest, written estimate before we touch a shovel, materials sized correctly for Missouri weather, and a crew that cleans up the site when it's done.

We've built cedar privacy fences for new subdivisions, vinyl fencing for HOA-governed neighborhoods, ornamental pool enclosures that meet code, and miles of farm fencing for the hobby farms and acreage properties that ring the metro.
